MIKE WITT
CEF LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
Chief Sustainability Officer and VP of EHS
Mike is responsible for overseeing and integrating environmental sustainability, energy management, and workplace safety strategies across the global operations of the company. This executive role reporting to the Chair, CEO and President ensures compliance with regulatory standards, drives innovation in materials and energy efficient technologies, and safeguards employee well-being. Mike brings decades of experience to Northrop Grumman. Most recently, he held a number of key leadership positions with Dow Inc. and led the company’s strategy for energy efficiency and materials sustainability and played a key leadership role in building a $1.5B cross value chain global initiative to end plastic waste in the environment. He also represented the chemical industry in numerous national and international negotiations on topics of strategic interest to the global industry. Mike holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, Master of Business Administration from Northwood University and Bachelor of Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.

BRODIE DAVIS
Director of ESG Reporting
Brodie leads Northrop Grumman’s ESG Reporting and Corporate Sustainability programs, driving initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability. With over a decade of experience in finance and accounting, she leads the company’s ESG Reporting processes, including the annual Sustainability Report, and oversees environmental programs focused on GHG emissions, water management and waste reduction. Prior to her current role, Brodie served as Northrop Grumman’s Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, where she played a key role in SEC filings and quarterly earnings processes. Her background includes eight years at KPMG, specializing in audits for Aerospace and Defense companies. Brodie holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accountancy from Wake Forest University and is a certified public accountant.

MELISSA TERESINSKI
Sr. Manager, Corporate Sustainability
Melissa joined Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Sustainability organization in 2016. She was an integral part of the company’s achievement of the 2020 sustainability goals and led the development of the company’s 2030 water withdrawal and solid waste reduction goals. Melissa is responsible for water and solid waste strategic planning specific to operations goal achievement, and footprint reporting and non-financial metrics in greenhouse gas, water and solid waste. Her background includes twelve years in business roles within Northrop Grumman, including Contracts & Pricing, Business Development and Data Analytics. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from George Washington University and a master’s degree in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University.

STANLEY MERRITT
Program Manager, Next Generation Environmental Sustainability Goals
Stanley is an experienced sustainability leader with a successful track record of product stewardship, partnership development, project management, and positioning business as a force for good. Stanley is passionate about sustainable value creation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to help customers solve their unique problems while driving team-based organizational transformation. Stanley is currently responsible for the strategic development of the environmental sustainability and energy services program at Northrop Grumman. He joined the company in April 2020. Stanley has worked in and with numerous industry sectors including agriculture, automotive, chemical, electronics, and mining over his 20+ year career. Stanley’s professional credentials include an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University along with masters and doctoral degrees from Texas A&M University in Safety Engineering and Environmental Engineering.

LINDSEY BEAN
Sr. Manager of Net Zero and Special Projects
Lindsey leads the company’s Net Zero strategy, including the execution of operational GHG accounting programs and the development of its first comprehensive Scope 3 GHG inventory. With a focus on strategic environmental initiatives, Lindsey has overseen multiple renewable energy power purchase agreements and collaborates cross-functionally to align sustainability efforts with business goals. Previously serving as the Senior Environmental Sustainability Policy and Compliance Lead, Lindsey spearheaded Northrop Grumman’s engagement with emerging environmental policies, secured executive buy-in for proactive chemical risk management, and represented the company in key industry associations. Her work has bridged environmental compliance with corporate strategy, helping shape both internal policy and broader industry direction.

AMANDA HOSTER
ESG Reporting Manager
Amanda manages rthrop Grumman's annual ESG report, as well as climate reporting and all other ESG-related disclosures and rater and ranker engagement. Amanda has over 10 years of experience in the corporate sustainability and sustainable development fields. Prior to joining rthrop Grumman in 2021, she worked in the ESG and sustainability consulting space for nearly five years, working with companies of all sizes and across industries on ESG reporting, disclosure, strategy, goal-setting and data collection. She also spent two years working on sustainable development in Nicaragua with the Peace Corps. Amanda has a Master’s in Environmental Management focused on Business and the Environment from Duke University, and is based in Washington, DC.

- Diverted 42 million pounds of waste from landfill in 2024.
- Implemented 12 water conservation projects in 2024, expected to reduce 3.8 million gallons of water annually (75% in water-stressed locations).
- In 2024, increased to 75 company sites engaging with its Technology for Conservation (T4C) initiative, which works with partners to develop technologies for conservationists to collect data in difficult conditions.
- Provided 4.3 million STEM experiences in 2024 through K-12 programming and teacher professional development.
- Spent 35% of domestic spend with small business suppliers.
- Over 99% of full- and part-time employees completed ethics training in 2024.

NORTHROP GRUMMAN / STANTEC — Northrop Grumman has partnered with environmental design and engineering firm Stantec to develop monitoring, data-capture, and analysis solutions to address four critical gaps in conservation. These include wildland firefighting, detection, and monitoring; marine mammal and ecosystems tracking; historic and cultural preservation; and biodiversity monitoring. (July 2025)
2022
Announced new environmental sustainability goals, including to (April 2022):
- Achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions in operations by 2035.
- Source 50% of total electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
- Develop a “pioneering product stewardship program” with key customers focused on material efficiency, product design and life cycle assessment.
- Expand Technology for Conservation initiatives in proximity to U.S. locations by 2030.
2020
Northrop Grumman signed a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement with Dominion Energy subsidiary Dominion Generation to enable the construction of a 62.5 MW solar facility in Orange County, Virginia. Once operational in 2022, the solar facility is expected to offset 100% of Northrop Grumman’s electricity use in Virginia across its manufacturing and office operations, and increase the company’s renewable energy sourcing to 10% globally.
