CEF empowers its members to deliver a sustainable future by cultivating a high-trust, neutral space for candid, closed-door, peer-to-peer discussions that catalyze meaningful connections, focused insights, and bold action.
Everything we do is driven by your priorities and ideas. Please email or call anyone on our team anytime with needs, questions, ideas—or simply to brainstorm ways in which we might be able to help you advance your objectives. We're eager to listen carefully and pursue topics with critical mass that will move the needle.

CSO Huddle +1: Strategic Repositioning in Response to the OBBB with Jigar Shah
September 16, 2025, 11:30 AM – 12:25 PM Eastern (8:30 AM Pacific)
The recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) in the US will impact corporate sustainability strategies and global goals. Join energy strategist, entrepreneur, and former Department of Energy Director of Loan Programs, Jigar Shah, for a lively discussion about the OBBB’s implications for business in the short, medium, and long term and the actions you can take both within and outside of your organization.
This roundtable will focus on the actions our members can take to advance their sustainability strategies in response to the OBBB, not on the details of the OBBB itself. A pre-read of the Norton Rose Fulbright summary of Effects of OBBB on Projects (or this podcast if you’d prefer) is recommended.
In a rare CSO Huddle deviation, you may bring a +1! Please ask a Public or Government Affairs colleague to join you for this conversation, as always, bringing your thoughtful questions to fuel the important discussion and further help you prepare for engagement at NY Climate Week. Contact Laura Keenan for more information.
